Setting Up a Blog as a Porfolio

Next week we begin to set up an individual blog which will take the place of the 'portfolio' we used last year. We would like you to think about how you could show us on your blog the process you used to learn the keyboard and what the correct posture should look like.

Keyboard Revision Unit

As we are coming to the end of our Keyboarding Revision Unit I am pleased to see so many of you were prepared to try really hard to get the use of the correct finger pathways right. It is so important to take the time you need to practice these. If you continue to use the correct technique each time you use the computer, whether at home or school, you will eventually be able to 'touch type' meaning that you will not even need to look at the keyboard.

We will continue to focus on accuracy, but will also begin to build up your speed slowly. Each lesson we will allow 10 mins for this.
